Microsoft Azure adds ability to calculate cost of Azure Government Services

The Azure Pricing Calculator is a great tool for estimating what cloud services from Microsoft might cost your company. These costs are broken down into regions based on where Azure services are provided and vary depending on the service you are looking to purchase. Now government organizations that are eligible to purchase Azure Government services can estimate the cost of those services with the addition of two new regions to the calculator.

Over on the Azure Government Cloud blog, Microsoft shared this new addition to the Azure pricing Calculator with customers and you can see the two new government regions that can be used to estimate Azure cloud costs.

Azure Government Services and Regions

Those two items are based on the geographical location of the services and you should pick the one which is located closest to your organization.

The calculator can be used to estimate costs for all of the Azure Cloud based services and you just pick the service/services you are interested in purchasing through the Azure Pricing Calculator:

Just select all of the items you are interested in and if you are looking for the Azure Government cost be sure to select either the Iowa or Virginia government regions for your estimate.

Results from this calculation process can be exported and retained for your discussions with your Microsoft representative about purchasing the services.
