JSI Tip 9548. When you right-click a DVD changer in Windows XP Explorer (or My Computer), and press Eject, the DVD is NOT ejected?

Even though your DVD changer functions properly on Windows XP, storing multiple DVDs, when you use Explorer.exe, or My Computer, to select the DVD changer, and press Eject on the right-click context menu, a DVD is NOT ejected.

The behavior occurs because of a problem in Windows XP.

To work around this behavior, use either of the following:

• Use the software that came with your changer to eject the DVD.

• Manually eject the DVD.
