JSI Tip 9523. When you start, or shutdown. Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003, you occasionally receive a STOP 0x000000D1 BSOD?

During startup or shutdown, you occasionally receive:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer...

STOP 0x000000D1 (0x........, 0x........, 0x........, 0x........)

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

This very rare behavior occurs when a failure is detected between the time that a USB controller is suspended and the time that it resumes, even if no USB devices are connected.
