JSI Tip 9389. Some high-speed CardBus (PCMCIA) devices run slower after you resume Windows XP from standby or hibernation?

When you bring Windows XP out of standby, or hibernation, some high-speed PC Card devices, like a CardBus USB host controller, may run slower.

This behavior occurs because the device no longer uses bursting after your resume from standby or hibernation.

The only workaround I know is to restart your Windows XP computer.
