When you use the Safely Remove Hardware ( ) Wizard to remove a USB (Universal Serial Bus) device from Windows XP, either the wrong device is removed, or you receive Rundll32.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you physically disconnect the USB device before you receive the Safe To Remove Hardware confirmation, you may experience either of these behaviors.
