JSI Tip 8450. Automatic Updates and Windows Update will deliver Windows XP SP2 on April 12, 2005?

The tools to temporarily block the delivery of Windows XP Service Pack 2 by Windows Update and Automatic Updates where set to expire 120 days from August 16, 2004.

Based upon customer feedback, Microsoft has reset the delivery date via Windows Update and Automatic Updates to April 12, 2005, which is also the schedule date for the monthly cumulative security update.
