JSI Tip 8206. Windows 2000 randomly BSODs with STOP 0x00000050 during logoff?

When you logoff, or shutdown, Windows 2000, you may receive the following BSOD:

STOP 0x00000050 (..,...,...,...) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

This is a known bug that occurs when a buffer used during the logoff process does NOT contain a NULL termination.

Hopefully, Microsoft will find this random error and correct the problem in a future service pack, and hotfix.
