JSI Tip 8043. When you upgrade from Windows 2000 Server to Windows Server 2003, File and Print Services for Netware does not work?

File and Print Services for Netware behaves unexpectedly after the upgrade from any Windows 2000 server edition, to Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition, or Datacenter Edition, if File and Print Services for Netware 5, or Windows Services for Netware 5.01 (Service Pack 1) is installed.

This behavior occurs because the upgrade blocks access to the Fpnwsrv.sys driver.

To workaround this problem, Download and install Windows Services for Netware 5.02 Service Pack 2 (SP2) for MSDSS and FPNW.
