JSI Tip 6897. Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 on Windows Server 2003 issues 'An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist. (1008)' when you spell check?

When you press the ABC button to spell check a Web site in the Microsoft Content Management Server 2001 program, you receive an Internet Explorer script error:

An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist. (1008)

This error will occur if you DO NOT have Microsoft Word installed on the Content Management server.

To fix this problem, install Microsoft Word on the Content Management server.
