After you upgrade from W9x, all the sample scripts in the %WinDir%\Samples\WSH folder are missing, and so are any of those samples that you copied to other folders.
Windows 2000 Setup searches for and deletes all the WSH sample scripts, as it removes the W9x installation.
To preserve these scripts, prior to the upgrade, perform the following:
1. Copy the sample scripts to another folder.
2. Rename each sample script.
