JSI Tip 6502. Event 64021 is logged when you run the SFC utility on your Windows 2000 Datacenter server?

After you apply SP3 (Service Pack 3) on your Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, running the SFC utility produces event log entries similar to:

These files are associated with the Automatic Updates feature of Windows 2000. These files are NOT installed by default on a Datacenter server and you certainly wouldn't want an automatic update to bypass the Change Control feature.

NOTES:

Qmgr.dll is the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and queue manager.

Qmgrprxy.dll is the BITS proxy.

Wuaucpl.cpl is the Automatic Updates Control Panel applet.
