JSI Tip 4351. A Multihomed Windows 2000 DHCP server assigns duplicate IP addresses?

If more than one NIC in a multihomed DHCP server is connected to the same physical network segment, the server can issue duplicate IP addresses.

To resolve this problem, unbind the DHCP service from all but one of the NICs.
