JSI Tip 2093. I burned a Service Pack onto a CD, but I can only see fonts in the \i386 folder?

If your CD contains an uncompressed Desktop.ini, Explorer will only show fonts.

To solve the problem,

the file to Desktop.in_, and remove the Expanded Desktop.ini.

NOTE: The Desktop.ini contains:

       \[.ShellClassInfo\]
       UICLSID=\{BD84B380-8CA2-1069-AB1D-08000948F534\}

which is a link that tells Explorer, via the registry, that this is a font folder. Compressing the file prevents the link from being interpreted.
