JSI Tip 2055. How do I change a SFU client's logging verbosity?

By default, SFU (Services For UNIX) clients log error events only.

You can alter the verbosity of logging by navigating to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Client For NFS\CurrentVersion\Default

On the Edit menu, Add Value name LoggingLevel. This a REG_DWORD value. Set the data value as follows:

0 - Log error events only, the default.
1 - Log warnings and errors.
2 - Log informational events, warnings and errors.
3 - Log all errors and successes.

Exit the registry editor and stop /start the SFU NFS client.
