When you try to connect to a W9x share from Windows NT or Windows 2000 that is not in the same domain or in a workgroup, you are prompted for a User Name and Password.
If the W9x computer is using share-level access control with a Password-Protected share, it does not understand your access credentials.
To access this share, enter <W9x_Computer_name>\administrator as the User Name and enter the correct password for the share.
