JSI Tip 1604. Can't see list of domains at logon, after changing to a new account domain?

After moving users to a new account domain, some of them can't see the new domain in the Domain: drop down of CTRL+ALT+DEL.

To work around this problem, use Regedt32 to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Select the Dcache value name in the right hand pane and press Delete.

Select the DcacheUpdate value name and Delete it.

Shutdown and restart the workstation to rebuild the domain list.
