JSI Tip 0689 - My children have grown and I forgot the Content Advisor password.

You can reset this encryted password by navigating to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Ratings

If there is a Value Name of Key, delete it.

If sub-key name of .default exists, delete it.

Exit any instance of IE and restart it. Set a new password and configure the ratings.
