With Windows 8, Microsoft is integrating Xbox content and gaming services into Windows for the first time. This integration comes via Xbox Companion and SmartGlass apps for controlling an Xbox 360, Xbox Music and Video apps for interacting with local and online media content, and the Xbox Games app, which provides a nice front-end to all of your Xbox LIVE gaming activities, including games you play on Windows 8 (Xbox LIVE), the Windows desktop (Games for Windows Live), Xbox 360, or Windows Phone.
