We are at that stage in the development of the Windows 10 Creators Update where builds are appearing a couple of times each week as the expected release date gets even closer.
Today, when Microsoft released Build 15060 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring, they hit a milestone when it comes to the number of builds released for Redstone 2 as compared to the Anniversary Updates Redstone 1 development.
When the Anniversary Update was being developed there were a total of 26 builds released in reaching that updates availability. Well today, with Build 15060, the team has also released the 26th build of the Creators Update as it heads towards General Availability (GA).
However, when that GA date will arrive is still up for debate.
As I mentioned when Build 15058 was released earlier this week, there were some good indicators that we are certainly closing in on the Creators Release but two of my normal indicators - no desktop watermark or a system timebomb expiration - are now both back in Build 15060.

Windows 10 Version Dialog Box
So does the return of these two items take us back to square one heading towards the Creators Update?
No, of course not. I do think members of the Windows Insider team know that we, enthusiasts and Microsoft watchers, like looking for these kind of clues and might just be messing with us from build to build!
I did work my way through all of the different Windows Settings categories after installing this build and did not notice anything significant such as the new metered connection warning for Windows Update that showed up in Build 15058.
However, it does look like Microsoft has continued to grow the Windows 10 Themes Collection in the Windows Store over the last several builds. It now has 160 different themes available for use in customizing the operating system.
It is great to see so many familiar themes appearing in the Store for Windows 10. Included in this collection are many Community Showcase themes which contains images submitted by various photographers which were based on various themes.
In fact, a handful of them contain images from my own photography work which I had accepted as part of those submission opportunities.
Back in the Windows 7 days the number of available themes had to be trimmed down to just a handful for download so it is great to see them all coming back now.
So hold on tight because something tells me there are more builds to be installed before we reach that final one leading up to the Creators Update GA.
