A. Start the Date/Time control panel applet, select the 'Time Zone' tab and unselect the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving".
It can also be done directly in the registry
- Start the registry editor (regedit.exe)
- Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation
- From the edit menu select New - DWORD value
- Enter a name DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet and press enter
- Double click the new value and set to 1. Click OK
- Close the registry editor
