It was another good week for "Windows 8.1 Book," which hit the 450 page mark en route to the 1.0 release. This week: The Bing Apps chapter is complete and a Backup and Restore chapter is getting close to complete as well.

Here is a second look at the BACKUP AND RESTORE chapter for "Windows 8.1 Book." This one may need seem like a big change from a page count perspective, but I'm actually really happy with the organizational changes that occurred here. The chapter seems to flow better now, if that makes sense.

First draft of the Bing Apps chapter is now complete
Well, this one took quite a while to get through, but the first draft version of the BING APPS chapter for "Windows 8.1 Book" is finally ready. This update adds the Bing Maps section and a couple of the other sub-sections that were previously missing. Time to move on.
