Microsoft becomes third-largest company in the United States

Microsoft Corporation, with over 23,000 employees and its stock price at an all-time high of $126.63, surpassed Exxon to become the third-largest company in the United States. And they're not done growing. According to Chairman and CEO Bill Gates, "I do see how it's possible, if we did everything super well, that we could double in size." Microsoft is now worth over $151 billion, which puts it behind General Electric ($198 billion) and Coca Cola Co. ($169 billion)
