Microsoft acquires Interse Corp and its Internet server software

Microsoft announced today that it has acquired Interse Corp., makers of "market focus 3", software that analyzes Web site traffic and user profiles. Microsoft will merge the product into its BackOffice line of server software and offer hooks to it through authoring software such as Front Page 97
