Due to a bug in the CherryTrail systems, those attempting to install Build 10130 on a Surface 3 are having trouble getting it installed.
A thread on the Insider forums that started as a complaint over the original Surface Pro, recently turned into a plea for help for the Surface 3.
Gabe Aul confirmed the problem over Twitter and promised that a fix is coming.
@dotnetgator 10130 is a no-go for Surface 3. We have a bug that is unique to CherryTrail systems in that build. Relief is coming soon though— Gabriel Aul (@GabeAul) June 9, 2015
Remember, even though Microsoft has communicated that Windows 10 will officially release on July 29, it's still a beta product. Best suggestion I can give is that you wait until the release date to install it on production systems.
