A: The Windows Management Framework (WMF) 3.0 is available at the Microsoft webpage for Windows Management Framework 3.0 for Windows 2008, Windows 7, and Windows 2008 R2.
Before installation, ensure .NET Framework 4.0 is installed (available at the Microsoft download site for web installer or for the standalone installation).
After you install WMF 3.0 and the server has rebooted, you need to enable remote management through Server Manager at the Configure Server Manager Remote Management dialog box (see screen shot below). Then the server can be added to Server Manager.
