Stack Overflow and Microsft Partner for Developer Documentation Support

Stack Overflow and Microsft Partner for Developer Documentation Support

This week Microsoft and Stack Overflow unveiled a new partnership that will see Stack Overflow Content integrated into Microsoft's Documentation API.

If you are unfamiliar with Stack Overflow, they are a very popular question and answer website for developers that allow coders to get help with projects they are working on.

Microsoft and Stack Overflow have been partners in the past so seeing them partner up again is no surprise but this really expands their cooperation.

"Microsoft has long been a partner with Stack Overflow in the form of sponsored tags, and the launch of Stack Overflow Documentation enables the community to have an easy way to create and vote on code samples using the .NET Framework, Xamarin, and other Microsoft products and technologies."

Microsoft has a tour of Stack Overflow on the announcement blog post and gives you an idea of how the new integration will work at docs.microsoft.com.

Down the road users will see Stack Overflow community samples and Microsoft documentation and code samples side by side.

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
