Windows Azure Hyper-V Recovery Manager (HRM) has been in preview testing for a few months, but today, Microsoft has announced that it is now live in production and available to use in production.
I originally wrote about Windows Azure Hyper-V Recovery Manager back in October 2013 when it was first made available as a public preview. Hyper-V Recovery Manager provides real-time asynchronous replication of VMs sitting in your datacenter, so if there's a site outage, the VMs can be systematically restored.
And, now with the official release, the product is also supported by Microsoft and backed by an Enterprise SLA.
Windows Azure Hyper-V Recovery Manager can be accessed by licensed Windows Azure admin using the Windows Azure Management Portal (https://manage.windowsazure.com/) under Data Services\Recovery Services.

So, has Windows Azure Hyper-V Recovery Manager improved since the preview release?
Microsoft has improved scalability, blocked-in Kerberos-based authentication support, improved failback, and added support for upgrading Virtual Machine Manager 2012 SP1 and R2.
