Windows XP Embedded Launch Set for November 28

Microsoft will launch Microsoft Windows XP Embedded, the component-based version of the Windows XP OS, at the second annual Windows Embedded Developers Conference November 28 through 30 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. As part of the launch activities, Microsoft and its Rapid Development Partners will showcase the first group of devices based on the new OS. Attendees will also get to use XP Embedded in hands-on labs and attend sessions that deal with building and developing smart devices, .NET and application development, and an introduction to Windows Embedded technologies. Sessions will focus on XP Embedded, Talisker, .NET, and application-development tools
