Windows NT vulnerable to denial of service attacks

An easily exploitable flaw in the way that Windows NT schedules running applications leaves the operating system open to denial of service attacks. The flaw, discovered by NT expert Mark Russinovich, could render NT "useless" can even be placed in an ActiveX control and activated over the Internet. Russinovich has written a program called CPUHog that demonstrates the problem and comments that Microsoft can easily fix the problem. Microsoft has no comment
