Thanks to Adam Furman for the tip: Microsoft has released a public version of its Windows NT Services for UNIX, Beta 2, to the Web. Windows NT Services for UNIX--which runs on Windows NT 4.0 SP3--makes it easier to integrate Windows NT 4.0 into existing UNIX environments. It provides resource sharing via NFS, remote administration via Telnet, password synchronization from Windows NT to UNIX, and common scripting across both platforms using a port of the UNIX Korn Shell to NT.
Versions for Intel and Alpha are available. For more information, and to download, the beta, please visit the Windows NT Services for UNIX Web site
