Windows IT Pro at MMS 2012

It's late Friday afternoon in the Windows IT Pro editorial offices, and a number of our team members are getting ready to make the trek out to sunny Las Vegas next week for the 2012 Microsoft Management Summit (MMS). Like every MMS conference that has preceded it, this year's show will focus on Microsoft's System Center product family, which has gone through a significant transformation over the last year. As I've blogged about previously, System Center 2012 has been improved significantly to help lay the foundation for Microsoft's private cloud strategy.

We'll be onsite at the show in Las Vegas most of next week, and will be blogging and posting updates via social media regularly. Joining me (@jeffjames3) at MMS will be Editor in Chief Amy Eisenberg (@witproamy), Products Editor Jason Bovberg (@jasonbovberg), Technical Director Sean Deuby (@shorinsean) and Senior Technical Director Michael Otey. Contributing Editors Orin Thomas (@orinthomas) and Darren Mar-Elia (@grouppolicyguy) will also be in attendance, but not specifically on behalf of Windows IT Pro. The MMS 2012 Twitter hashtag is #MMS2012, so you can follow our reporting (and other online misadventures) throughout the week. (Said misadventures may include a clandestine visit to  In-N-Out Burger by a few editors who shall remain nameless.)

We've also created a Facebook photo album to document our collective experiences at the show, so check that often to see some of the sights from the conference. We always like to hear from readers, so if you're attending the show send us a Twitter shout-out.
