Lotus Corporation, struggling to find its place in a world dominated by Microsoft products and the Internet, opens Lotusphere '97 this week, a Lotus-centric tradeshow. Lotus offers several unique products that are ideally suited to the Internet/intranet market, including Domino, a Notes server that's been modified to work over the Internet, and Notes itself, the wildly successfully messaging application. In recent years, Notes has suffered from its perception as a non-Web, proprietary solution, although it does now offer limited support for Web applications. Lotus has created a "Virtual Lotusphere" that allows you to take part in the show remotely. Want more information? Lotus Corporation http://www.lotus.co
