Thanks to Jim Beveridge for the tip: Microsoft has released Service Pack 3 for Visual Studio 97, its suite of Web and software development tools. Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 3 covers Visual Studio 97 (Enterprise and Professional Editions), Visual Basic 5.0 (Enterprise and Professional Editions), Visual C++ 5.0 (Enterprise and Professional Editions), Visual InterDev 1.0, Visual J++ 1.1 (Professional Edition), Visual FoxPro 5.0, and Visual SourceSafe 5.0.
Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 3 is a superset of Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 1 and 2--if you didn't install Service Pack 1 and/or 2, you will get all those updates with Service Pack 3. If you already installed a previous Service Pack for Visual Studio, Service Pack 3 will provide you with just the new updates.
