The top litigator for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has recommended that the government sue Intel for antitrust violations, virtually assuring such action will take place. According to reports, William Baer, the director of the FTC's bureau of competition, made the recommendation this week. A five-commissioner panel is expected to vote on the matter within the week.
