From TechEd 2005

After making my way around TechEd for the past couple of days I’ve gotten a chance to see a lot of new technologies like AMD’s cool new dual-core support. However, being a database developer the biggest news for me was the announcement of the launch of Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 on November 7^th.  Even better, if you want to try out the latest version of SQL Server there’s now public download on the www.microsoft.com site. To try out the latest version of SQL Server 2005 use the downloads link and search for SQL Server 2005 and then sort the list by date. You can download the June CTP for the SQL Server Express, Workgroup and Enterprise editions.
