Using a search engine, it doesn’t take a long time before you'll find Sharp customers who are frustrated with not being able to utilize their Sharp Multifunction Printers (MFPs) with Windows 8. Sharp has made applications available already for the iPhone, iPad, and Android, but they've now released a touch-app for Windows 8 that supports both Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT.
Sharpdesk Mobile provides the ability for Windows 8 users to receive and preview documents scanned by the Sharp MFP and also download the scanned documents from the networked device. In addition, the app provides the drivers and interface for printing any documents. The app is particularly useful for Microsoft Surface RT devices.
