A: Comixology is often referred to as the iTunes for comics and has deals to make available online the comics of nearly all major comics publishers. Comixology has a web-based reader available, but per its announcement, it also now has a native Windows 8 application for purchasing and reading of comics.
However, selecting the Store option in the application just launches the web-based Comixology store, but this is still an early version of the application.
