Now available: the final version of Visual Basic 5.0 Control Creation Edition

Microsoft today released the final version of Visual Basic 5.0 CCE, which allows developers to easily create ActiveX controls. According to Microsoft, over 215,000 ActiveX controls have been created with Visual Basic 5.0 CCE since the first beta was released last fall.
