Netscape posted their final release version of Netcaster along with their Communicator 4.02 suite late Friday night, barely meeting their pledge to deliver the components by the end of the week. Though no mention of the products is made on the Netscape Web site, you can download Communicator 4.02, which includes the final version of Netcaster, from the Netscape FTP site.
Communicator 4.02 is the final shipping version of the suite, which originally debuted in June. The suite has been plagued by bugs and a two month wait for Netcaster, which is written totally in Java. The standard edition of Communicator 4.02 will cost $59; the Professional Edition will cost $79
