Microsoft request for trial delay is denied

Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson has denied Microsoft's request that the antitrust trial against it be delayed two weeks so the trial will begin on October 19th as planned. Microsoft was asking for more time so that it could fully prepare its defense and investigate the DOJ's latest two witnesses, Sun's James Gosling and Apple's Avie Tevanian
