Microsoft: NT does not have a security flaw

In a response to the EE Times report that hackers had discovered another security flaw in Windows NT, Microsoft reported this week that no such flaw exists. Rather, the EE Times article simply raises awareness to the importance of protecting the Administrator account from unauthorized access. It also, according to Microsoft, "reinforces the importance of following basic security guidelines. Therefore, customers who want a secure solution on Windows NT should implement proper security policies."
