Microsoft announces SQL Server 6.5 SP5

SQL Server 6.5 Service Pack 5 will fix a Year 2000 problem in the scheduling engine, along with other, yet unknown bugs. SP 4 was only released earlier this year. In a way, the news that SQL Server users won't have to upgrade to version 7.0 to fix the Year 2000 problem is as surprising as it is welcome
