Microsoft adds Java support to ADSI

Microsoft announced today that they will be adding Java support to their upcoming Active Directory Services Interface (ADSI) toolkit. A beta will be available by June.

Active Directory--promised with Windows NT 5.0--allows users to easily navigate the directories of different computers running different operating systems. The ADSI toolkit enables developers to write applications that support these multiple directories. A non-Java version of the ADSI toolkit was released last month. It supported Novell NetWare and LDAP directories
