Microsoft adds Java to 16-bit Internet Explorer

Microsoft announced this morning Internet Explorer 3.01 for Windows 3.1 and Windows NT 3.51, a 16-bit Web browser that features an integrated Java Virtual Machine. Microsoft added the feature to remain competitive in the still impressive 16-bit market: Netscape's Navigator comes in a 16-bit version that features Java support as well.
