The list of domains in the logon box is not updated, what can I do?

A. The list of trusted domains should be updated whenever a trust relationship is terminated or created but this is not always the case.

To clear the machines cache of domains perform the following:

1. Start the registry editor (regedit.exe)
2. Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
3. Delete the DCache and DCacheUpdate values
4. Close the registry editor
5. Restart the computer
