JSI Tip 8328. In Windows Server 2003, Gpresult.exe DOES NOT display all the security settings of your default domain GPO?

When you run Gpresult.exe on Windows Server 2003, it does not, for example, show the SMB signing settings, or the NetLogon signing settings, for either the client or the server.

This behavior occurs because Gpresult.exe DOES NOT display security settings of the RSOP_RegistryValue class. It only displays settings of the following RSOP (Resultant Set Of Policy) classes:

CLS_SECURITY_BOOLEAN
CLS_SECURITY_STRING
