JSI Tip 8085. The SetSPN.EXE Windows 2000 Resource Kit tool is now in the public domain

The SetSPN.EXE command-line tool allows you to manage the SPN (Service Principal Names) directory property for an Active Directory™ directory service account. SPNs are used to locate a target principal name for running a service.

SetSPN.EXE allows you to view the current SPNs, reset the host SPNs, and add or delete supplemental SPNs.

NOTE: See How do I retrieve Service Principal Names from the Active Directory?
