JSI Tip 10235. How can I determine the applications that are installed on each computer in my domain?

Using PsInfo.exe freeware:

1. Open a CMD.EXE window on your workstation.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

psinfo -s * \\* -u <UserName> -p <Password>><Drive:>\<Folder>\Applications.txt

Where:

<UserName> is an account that is allowed to logon to every computer.

<Password> is the password for <UserName>.

<Drive:>\<Folder>\Applications.txt is the file that will contain the output.
NOTE: Each computer's installed applications will be preceded by the following in the <Drive:>\<Folder>\Applications.txt file:
