GFI Slashes Security Product Prices

GFI Software announced that it has reduced its prices by as much as 45 percent across various products, which the company hopes will attract more small businesses to its solutions.

In 2007 a 25 seat license for GFI MailEssentials cost 575€. Under the new pricing structure that same license costs 372.50€. In another example, last year GFI MailSecurity cost 630€ for a 25 seat license. That price has been reduced to 311.25€.

GFI said that in additional to lower prices it will toss in several extras at no additional charge. The company will include a software maintenance agreement, its ReportPacks software, and free anti-phishing and anti-spam updates for one year with each new purchase.

A spokesperson for the company said that, "Thanks to these new pricing bands, customers can benefit from top quality solutions that address the security and messaging requirements of small and medium sized businesses around the world but at prices that not only suit an SMB’s budget but are unbeatable in the marketplace."
