Firefox 1.0.5 Fixes a Dozen Security Problems

Mozilla Foundation released Firefox 1.0.5, which fixes a dozen security problems  and also offers improvements to its stability. The new release was issued on the same day (July 12) that Microsoft released three new security bulletins to correct serious problems in Microsoft Word , Windows Color Management Module , and the JView Profiler . While Firefox 1.0.5 does represent an improvement over previous versions it still has some known issues , so be sure to read those for any caveats that might apply to your particular systems.
